Ten years of results from the TOSCA device
Description
Tokamak Shaping and Current Assembly (TOSCA) was the smallest tokamak machine to utilize a thin stainless-steel bellows and no conducting shell. A key result of TOSCA was that the shaping of a tokamak plasma could have a positive effect on plasma beta. TOSCA was a training ground for many PhDs students in the fusion community. Currently, the TOSCA machine resides in the Science Museum at Kensington, London.
